Sexy New Dreamliner 787
Continental Airlines has already ordered the 787.
And no, that picture isn't coach; it's first class. Coach will still suck, but marginally less so, since the seats are a whopping half inch wider, and there's a tad more leg room due to thinner seat backs.

Meme Monday #36
From a meme traveling the blogosphere, a trip to Jamaica with the hubby.
8. I love just being alone with my husband. Even if we are doing nothing but sitting there with our own thoughts. I like being quiet with him. That was my favorite thing about being in Jamaica by ourselves at the end of our vacation.

Say Yes To Holiday Inn Express
A blogger on recent planning commission decisions in Woodland.
Sadly, the proposed hotel would be far nicer, far more upscale than any of the adjacent homes. Let’s hope Council shows some backbone and votes, like the Planning Commission, unanimously in favor of Shalish Patel’s Holiday Inn Express.

Skytrax Airline Rankings 2007
Click through for the airlines that made the top of the Skytrax airline rankings.
Skytrax recently released its 2007 World Airline Rankings, which grade airlines from one to five stars. And of the five star picks, there’s not a U.S. airline in the bunch. It probably won’t surprise you to learn that, when you troll through the four-star rankings, the U.S. airlines that make the grade aren’t the large ones. Instead Jet Blue, Frontier and Midwest Airlines are the ones on the list. You can check out all the rankings on your own, but here are the lucky few who won five stars:

We're Home!
A tough trip with Northwest Airlines.
When we got to LA we discovered that none of our luggage made it onto the airplane and two days later we are still waiting for them. I am NEVER flying on Northwest Airlines again, their customer service sucks, each person that was asked to help us with our seating problem passed the buck to somebody else and on top of all that, no luggage. I know the nasty TSA agent has nothing to do with the airline but the whole experience left a whole lot to be desired. The only fun part was watching Lauren as she sat next to the window and really “got” that we were flying up in the air with the clouds. That was pretty cool.

Vacation, Day 4
The plane got there, but not the luggage.
Tyler has spent pretty much all of vacation on the phone with Northwest Airlines (NWA!) trying to get his luggage shipped to us because like morons, they lost it and he’s without clothes and all that good stuff. It’s been stressful for me to listen to because I’d like to climb through the phone and bitchsmack every person he’s talked to. How can people just NOT be helpful? Is it THAT difficult? A couple hours later, Tyler smiles and says, “my luggage will be here tomorrow by 4:30!”. Finally.
