Up The Thames
A look at travel up the Thames, and travel marketing.
I have just recently had two different guests from abroad. I often take guests up the river Thames from Westminster to Hampton Court on one of the several vessels that sail under the WPSA flag. The WPSA seems to be a loose booking co-operative for five different vessels.

With Mickey Mouse
An unhappy Northwest Airlines passenger.
Today we departed from the confused state of Michigan in order to arrive in Orlando, Florida at approximately 8am and after a sleepless night I must admit Northwest Airlines is probably the absolute worst airline company that you can fly without a doubt. Although, this time they managed to get my luggage passed to the correct terminal and airport, the service on the plane was by far the worst i have ever experienced.

Driving In Phuket
Thai driving is the best!
Danny picked us up at 10 this morning and took us for a ride around Phuket, pointing out things here and there (not that we remember anything). We got all set up with scooters, which seem to be the primary means of transportation around here. Took a couple minutes to get used to driving one, but after a while it became second nature.

To Guinea!
Traveling through the rain forest to Guinea.
Setting off after breakfast early morning, the road still stretches a few hundred miles westward to the border with Guinea. To travel early has many advantages : For one the dreadful Gendarmerie and Douane checkpoints and barriers are mostly unmanned, and secondly the temperature is still bearable.
