Don't Skip Acapulco
From a fun traveblog on a trip through Mexico.
Most travellers we have met along the way who have been to Mexico advised us to skip Acapulco... but I'm glad we didn't listen to them. The place has a real kitch appeal that could only be achieved after years of exploitation by a money hungry tourism industry. Now, in the aftermath of Acapulco's hey-day, stands a town built on mosaic tiles and impractical 1980's playboy architecture.
