Ask the Trees to Say 'Cheese,' Prepare to be Seized
Documentary film maker Jem Cohen had a small problem when he brought his 16mm camera on board.
In January, Cohen boarded an Amtrak bound from New York to DC. Along the way, he attempted to shoot the passing scenery. (Note to Homeland Security: “Shoot” has multiple meanings.) But when the train stopped in Philly, four armed cops boarded the train and demanded that Cohen turn over his film.
