Hoax Travel Ads

travel air france transatlantys fake ad When hoaxes work, they can make for great marketing:

i discovered through chryde and hoaxbuster, that this is not less not more than a fake ad by SNCF to promote they flight between NY and Paris. Smart Marketers: if i was not so curious about reading other blogs i would have never discovered the truth and the buzz around your ad would have been a total flop on me. At any moment there is a possibility to understand who is the advertiser: it could have been air france/ easy jet/ lastminute.com. So think twice : a hoax can be good if it can be related directly and simply to the advertiser and its brand...
