Amtrak From A British Point Of View

The national rail system in America is called Amtrak, the train pictured here is the "California Zephyr" which runs from Chicago to San Francisco, and it's reckoned to be one of the worlds outstandingly scenic rail journeys. Today is April 29th 2004, and I am planning to take this train myself in less than a week.
